The Guyana Conference of Seventh-day Adventists Second Quadrennial Session. The Guyana Conference of Seventh-day Adventists held its Second Quadrennial Session on May 16-19, 2007, under the theme, 'Motivivated by Hope'. This session was held at the Central Seventh-day Adventist Church. There is no doubt that the Spirit of God was evident. Pastor Charles Brivett, Secretary of the Jamaica West Conference presented the devotions on Wednesday evening and Thursday morning. The delegates present were inspired. At these sessions reports were given for the previous Quadrennial. These reports gave a concise overview of the events and activities conducted during the period under review. One of the highlights of the reports indicated that during the period 2003-2007 more than 7000 individuals were added to the membership of this great Conference. More special, the total membership passed the 50,000 mark. To God be the glory. Deligates from all across Guyana came to this session to elect the officers and the executive committee to serve the Guyana Conference of SDA for the next four years. The session ended on Sabbath 19th May, with a massive convention at the Sophia Convention centre where more than 5000 members gathered together to praise and worship God. Dr. Eugene Daniel delivered the Message for the Divine worship. He pointed out that while we are 'motivated by hope', we are also sustained by hope. In the afternoon there was the inauguration service for the new administration, directors and the executive committee
